The theme will be Methods in Behavioral Ecology: How to Avoid Pitfalls and Achieve Rigor. This will provide a central focus for the seminar while allowing us to discuss a wide range of examples of interest to participants; e.g., communication, foraging behavior, habitat selection, territoriality, anti-predator behavior, mate choice and mating systems, parental care, social behavior.
